Biography

Dr. Guilong Zhang is a senior researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Agro-Environmental Protection Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, a Master’s degree in Tillage and Cultivation from Henan Agricultural University, and a doctorate in tillage and cultivation from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research direction is soil carbon and nitrogen cycle and pollution prevention and control technology. He has presided over more than 10 projects, including the National Key R&D Special Project, the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Science and Technology Support Plan, and the National Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project. He has won 6 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, 3 invention patents, published more than 40 papers, 6 monographs, and formulated 1 industry standard.
