Dr. Suvarna T. Jadhav is an accomplished Associate Professor in the field of Biochemistry, with a strong academic and research background. She holds an M.Sc. (Medical) and a Ph.D. (Medical) in Biochemistry, both obtained from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Her M.Sc. dissertation focused on In Vitro Studies of Lectin Specific Changes on Erythrocyte Membrane in Malaria, while her Ph.D. research explored Biochemical Evaluation of Coronary Artery Disease with Special Reference to Diabetes Mellitus.

With 24 years of teaching experience, Dr. Jadhav has contributed to medical education at institutions such as Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, and B.V.D.U.D. College and Hospital, Sangli. Her academic journey is marked by significant research contributions, including 27 publications in both national and international journals, with 14 of them as the first author. Her research interests primarily center around Coronary Artery Disease and Diabetes Mellitus.

Dr. Jadhav has actively participated in 39 conferences and workshops, presenting four papers and posters. She has received notable awards, such as the Women Researcher Award from the International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science, and Medicine in August 2021, and the Third Prize for Poster Presentation for her work on To Study the Electrolytes and Calcium Level in Epileptic Children at the 9th Annual International Conference of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences in February 2020.

Professionally, she plays a vital role in various institutional committees, including the Board of Studies (pre-clinical), Internal Institutional Ethical Committee, Research Committee Coordinator, and others like the NAAC, Women Cell, Alumni, and NABH Committees. She also serves as a reviewer and editor for several journals, and is part of the Examiner Panel for MUHS, Nashik, for M.B.B.S. examinations. Additionally, she acts as an External Senior Supervisor for university examinations at multiple institutions.
