Dr. Som Subhro Biswas, MD, is a dedicated physician and researcher with a focus on Radiology and a specialization in Pediatric Radiology. His academic journey began with an MBBS from Christian Medical College in Vellore, India (2002–2008), followed by Residency in OBGYN at Grant Government Medical College JJ Hospital in India (2009–2012). He further expanded his expertise through Radiology Residencies in India and the USA, and completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (2021–2025).

Currently, Dr. Biswas is a practicing Pediatric Radiologist at JAH and pursuing certification with the American Board of Radiology. He is a Diplomate of the National Board in Diagnostic Radiology (India) and holds active medical licenses in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and India.

Dr. Biswas has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in 2024, the Outstanding Research Award from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2023, and the Roentgen Research Award by the RSNA in 2023. He has authored 51 peer-reviewed papers and is a thought leader in the integration of Artificial Intelligence in medicine. His scholarly contributions are reflected in his H Index of 17 and over 2855 citations. He also serves as an Associate Editor for multiple journals and is actively involved in academic leadership and research initiatives in the field of Radiology.
