Dr. Prathik A is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. He holds a Ph.D. in Image Processing from Vellore Institute of Technology, with research focusing on soil classification using advanced image processing and machine learning techniques.

His academic and research interests include data mining, image processing, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics. Dr. Prathik has authored numerous research publications in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and has contributed to several international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for leading journals, including IEEE Transactions and IoT-based publications.
