Dr. Munish Kumar is a dedicated Ayurvedic physician and academic with a strong commitment to research and education in traditional medicine. Born on July 12, 1988, he is an Indian national who has made significant contributions to the field of Agadtantra (Toxicology) in Ayurveda.

Dr. Kumar earned his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 2012 from the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot. He further pursued a Master of Medicine (MD) in Agadtantra from Uttarakhand Ayurved University (U.A.U.), Dehradun, in 2017, with a dissertation titled "Comparative Evaluation of Antioxidant Potential of Bhallataka Seeds (Semecarpus anacardium Linn.) w.s.r. to Shodhana Process."

With extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings, Dr. Kumar has served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Agadtantra at institutions such as the K.V. Ayurved Medical College Dev Hospital, Agra, and the Bharat Ayurved College and Research Centre  Ayurved Medical College Hospital, Muzaffarnagar. He has also worked as a Medical Officer in Medicine, Neurology, ICU, and Emergency departments at Tagore Hospital Heart Care Center, Jalandhar. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Agadtantra at the Dev Bhoomi Ayurved Medical College Hospital, Dehradun.

An active researcher and presenter, Dr. Kumar has contributed to numerous national and international conferences, showcasing his work on topics such as Viruddha Ahara (incompatible food combinations), Ama Dosha (toxic by-products in digestion), and drug toxicity in Ayurveda. His academic excellence has been recognized with awards, including the 1st prize for best paper presentation at NASYACON 2015 and a Gold Medal at the university level during his MD final year.

Dr. Kumar is also proficient in utilizing digital tools for academic research, including navigating PubMed and other scientific databases. Known for his effective communication skills, leadership abilities, and dedication to education, he continues to inspire students and colleagues in the field of Ayurveda.
