Prof. Dr. Moumita Hazra is a distinguished academic and clinician with extensive experience in the fields of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Pharmacovigilance. She holds key leadership roles at Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, where she serves as Professor and Head of Departments for Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance, and Pharmacotherapeutic Medicine. She is also a Guest Professor at Utkal University and the Odisha University of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.


Dr. Hazra is actively involved in academic and administrative leadership, including coordinating and chairing committees related to Pharmacovigilance and Causality Assessment. She has conducted and directed numerous specialized training courses in areas such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Vaccine Vigilance, and Clinical Haematopathology. In the private sector, she serves as Principal, Chancellor, Medical Director, and Medical Superintendent at various institutions, including Dr. Moumita Hazra's Polyclinic and Diagnostic Centre and Mother Teresa University College of Nursing.


She is also a Consultant Pathologist and Laboratory Advisor at Bhramar Seva Sadan, West Bengal, and a Consultant Physician at Ashif Clinic and Nursing Home and Gourhari Nursing Home, specializing in Clinical Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Medicine, and Paediatric and Neonatal Medicine.


Prof. Hazra is a prolific contributor to academic publishing, serving as Editor, Editor-In-Chief, Editorial Board Member, Reviewer, and Author for numerous national and international journals and books. She is affiliated with prestigious professional bodies, including the Royal Colleges of Physicians, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and Paediatrics and Child Health.


Her extensive experience, leadership, and scholarly contributions make her a respected figure in the medical and academic communities.
