Dr. Ananthaswamy V. is a distinguished academic in the field of Multidisciplinary Physics, with a special focus on the application of Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations (ODEs/PDEs) to model complex physical and biological systems. He has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at The Madura College (Autonomous), Madurai, since 2000, where he has dedicated his career to teaching, research, and academic leadership.

Dr. Ananthaswamy earned his Ph.D. in 2013 from Madurai Kamaraj University, following his M.Phil. (2002) and M.Sc. (2000). Over the years, he has published over 190 scholarly papers, with research spanning a wide range of topics such as fluid dynamics (nanofluids, MHD flow), heat transfer, reaction-diffusion processes, and epidemiological modeling (e.g., for diseases like Measles, Hepatitis B, and the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19). His research often employs semi-analytical and approximate methods, including the Homotopy Perturbation Method and Akbari-Ganji’s Method, to solve non-linear differential equations.

Dr. Ananthaswamy is also an active member of the academic community, serving as an editorial board member, journal reviewer, and Research Advisory Committee (RAC) member for Ph.D. students at Madurai Kamaraj University. His contributions to education and research have been recognized with prestigious awards, including Best Teacher Awards in 2023 and 2024, and the Inspired Academic Excellence Award.
